You presume that people believe his only son was sent to save us. Jesus was sent over 2000 years ago. It’s a little tough to have a tangible connection to that without a strong belief in God and Jesus. The reason I believe it’s hard is because we live in a broken world. There is pain and suffering all around us. The only hope I can cling to in the storm I’m in though is the knowledge that I’m not alone. If there is not a God I don’t regret living my life for a reason. For him, my savior. I believe he sent his son to save me, as well as everyone else. My sister Jacinda helps me there. She’s gone through so much. I don’t think most people can’t wrap their mind around what it REALLY meant for God to, literally, send his only begotten son here on Earth, in the flesh, to die at the hands of sinners and persecutors at the very hands of the people He was trying to save!
